Primum Pensum

In this story of Daphne and Apollo, Ovid juxtaposes two different themes: the hunt, and sexual passion. Explore these two themes in the story. Where do they run concurrently? Where do they diverge? Where do they pertain to Apollo in one way, to Daphne in another? Do they ever change roles? Finally, have you see anything like these double themes in the works of Catullus?
